Conny Maier, a rising star of contemporary painting, has translated a favourite motif for Monopol: the German Shepherd – not on canvas, but on five exclusive ceramic plates.
When we first encountered Conny Maier’s paintings, we were deeply impressed: her works are radical, bold and distinctive. And we were not alone in this impression. Today, Maier, who lives between Berlin and Portugal, has had major museum retrospectives, received numerous awards, and become a favourite among collectors.
For Monopol, Maier has realised one of her new favourite subjects – the German Shepherd – not as a print, but on a ceramic plate. The edition is limited to five pieces and is priced at €595 (gross), plus a flat shipping fee of €160 (gross), or €15 (gross) for packaging in the case of collection.
