An update on the classic motif of the woman and the apple: for Monopol’s 20th anniversary, Anne Imhof has created a painting and photographic collage in an edition of 20.
Anne Imhof is the artist Monopol has featured on its cover more frequently than any other – first in 2017, when she represented Germany at the Venice Biennale and won the Golden Lion with her performance and installation “Faust”. Since then, her international career has shown no signs of slowing; on 7 June, her latest solo exhibition opens at Kunsthaus Bregenz.
Anne Imhof’s exclusive edition for Monopol, in a confident DIN A3 format, combines photography, painting and collage. The image of the woman and the apples once again offers a fresh take on a classic. Titled “Tell”, the edition is issued in 20 copies plus five artist’s proofs and is priced at €1,420 including VAT.
