THE CURRENCY LAB - tɛknoʊmædʒɪkɛs ist ein künstlerisches Langzeitforschungsprojekt des Musikers, Künstlers, Filmemachers Elom 20ce (Lome/Togo) und der Künstler und Filmemacher Musquiqui Chihying (Berlin/Taipeh) und Gregor Kasper (Dresden/Deutschland).
Unter Beteiligung und im Austausch mit Künstler:innen, Musiker:innen und Wissenschaftler: innen aus Afrika untersuchen sie das utopische Potential von Währungen und anderen Wertesystemen für eine emanzipatorische Zukunft auf dem Planeten. Das Projekt umfasst eine Ausstellung mit Kunstwerken in verschiedenen Medien wie Film, Musik und Installation sowie ein Workshop.

THE CURRENCY LAB - tɛknoʊmædʒɪkɛs is a long-term artistic research project by the musician, artist and filmmaker Elom 20ce (Lome/Togo) and the artists and filmmakers Musquiqui Chihying (Berlin/Taipei) and Gregor Kasper (Dresden/Germany).
With the participation of and in dialogue with artists, musicians and scientists from Africa, they examine the utopian potential of currencies and other value systems for an emancipatory future on the planet. The project includes an exhibition with artworks in various media such as film, music and installation as well as a workshop.
