On the occasion of the second SPOT ON event, we are pleased to present new works by Regine Schumann exclusively in the artist's studio. Since the beginning of her artistic career, Schumann (*1961 Goslar) has related painting to space in order to explore new possibilities of this classical genre. Color-intensive, expansive and flowing bodies and installations made of pigmented acrylic glass, which reacts to light due to its materiality, envelop the space, absorb it in color and give its architecture a new temperature. Color and light, composition and intensity are central, immaterial factors that make up Schumann's artistic concept.
