Salomé Chatriot presents Void is Seductive a new exhibition at OFFICE IMPART Berlin. A five-channel video installation, First Month of Anger, follows a transparent, headless figure inhabiting an unstable and hypersensitive body. The computer-generated form has no interior or exterior; she exists only as representation, folded back on herself through inverted geometry and reflective surfaces.
Accompanying the installation are new enamel paintings and Void is Seductive 2, a leather sculpture that translates the video's protagonist into physical form. Together, these works examine the machine's paradoxical existence: entirely dependent on being seen, yet never truly present, she shouts her desire [for violence].
