To the sea, over the mountains, and out into the countryside—join the beloved cuddly Rabbit Felix on journeys near and far. From March 28, 2026, until January 3, 2027, the LWL-Museum für Kunst und Kultur in Münster invites visitors of all ages to embark on a journey of discovery with the exhibition “Wanderlust. Traveling with Felix the Rabbit” Six themed rooms take children, teens, and adults to coastlines, cities, distant landscapes, or even the garden right outside their front door. Artworks by August Macke, Ida Gerhardi, Otto Piene, and Annelise Kretschmer are paired with creative installations and interactive hands-on stations. And always by their side: Felix the Rabbit, who guides visitors through the family exhibition via watercolors and letters. The result is a vibrant interplay of art, culture, and current topics related to the environment, leisure, and tourism.
The exhibition is presented in collaboration with author Annette Langen, illustrator Constanza Droop, and the Coppenrath Verlag.
