WENTRUP is pleased to present "As Long as I Get Somewhere," the first solo exhibition by Jenny Brosinski in both gallery spaces. The artist is best known for her large, abstract, and minimal-gestural paintings. In her intuitive process, Brosinski reveals abstract forms, playful text, and gestural strokes on raw canvas that feel quick and automatic, with paintings dominated by bursts of color on a beige, bare background. Art historian and critic Larissa Kikol describes the work as "dirty minimalism" or "cool expressionism."
