We are pleased to announce Alison Hall's third solo exhibition "One and One is One" at the gallery. For the first time, the American artist will occupy the upstairs exhibition space. Responding to the architecture, the exhibition will feature blue and black paintings created by the artist using her distinctive technique inspired by early Renaissance Italian ceiling paintings.
In this process, intense color studies create multi-layered blacks and bright blues that evoke numerous associations in our pictorial memory. The filigree graphite drawings and colorful patterns applied to them bring the painting to life.
